THE DANCING QUEEN

⭕ 3.22 Southwell Dance Time has thrived since tried over staying trips and can continue the progress here, despite racing off a 3lb higher mark since her course and distance win last month.

Don’t tell the handicapper but that rise might not be too harsh. Having watched the race again this morning she seemed to have plemty in hand at the finish and her proven stamina is a positive in race with many suspect stayers.

They include main market danger Comte De Loir who starts handicapping life off with his first try over two miles. His three runs last season all came over a mile and a half with only modest ability shown to date.

PROMISING BRIGHT ALTERNATIVES

⭕ 5.45 Newcastle This looks a decent handicap, by class 4 standards, pitching together hat-trick seeking Pals Battalion and the ultra consistent Mondammej who has hit a purple patch of form with recent outings 1122-1 with the latest win coming only last week over the five furlong course here.

Both are course and distance winners but it’s by no means a two horse race with the front two on the Betdaq Betting Exchange both up in the weights.

True Promise has a huge chance based on his course and distance third to Alfa Whiteburd in December which came in a higher class 3 grade. If supporting him you need to judge him on that effort rather than his return to the course just before Christmas when he simply failed to fire.

As small stakes alternatives to the obvious two I’ll also include Bright who was a course, distance and class winner in October and whilst only 10th next time out wasn’t beaten far and didn’t enjoy the rub of the green. It would be no surpriuse to see him run a big race here under Billy Loughnane.

TOMORROW’S NAP TODAY

⭕ 6.45 Newcastle This looks best left to Tomorrow Day who was pipped a head in an amateur rdiers race over course and distance last time out and is now partnered by Paul Mulrennan for the first time.

He won back to back C&D races last October and November off marks of 48 and 52 respectively but still looks very competitive off his current level of 60 and arrives here in better form than most.

Ben Haslam’s Tickets came in for some early Betdaq support and generally goes well here. He looks one of the biggest dangers.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
