5-1 NAP AMONG 9 WINNING TIPS: Daqman came through a rotten weekend smelling of roses when his new style of tipping exclusively for BETDAQ racedays produced NINE WINS from 14 selections yesterday, including a 5-1 nap!

18 OUT OF 20 SUCCESSFUL LAYS: He went through the BETDAQ card of five races with a winning lay in every race – not one of them was even placed – bringing his current score to 18 out of 20.

HE’S SERIOUS ABOUT WINNERS! Says Daqman: ‘I hate losing and had to put things right. BETDAQ is serious about sport, and I am serious about tipping winners.’ His scene-stealing nine wins, which included a successful triple whammy of win, place and lay in the same race, were:

WIN Steal The Scene (WON 5-1, nap)
WIN Walaa (WON 5-1)
WIN The Big Lad (WON 7-2)
WIN Trucanini (2nd 10-1 place)
WIN Sunbaked (win lay, 0 5-2 favourite)
WIN Humour (win lay, 0 6-1)
WIN Rocket Ronnie (place lay, 0 8-1)
WIN Appleberry (place lay, 0 25-1)
WIN Sexy Secret (place lay, 0 33-1)

ON THE TRAIL OF CHELTENHAM STARS: Another innovation starts today, in which Daqman tracks the success stories of the big winners at Cheltenham, so that you can find bets for 2016 from their glory trail. Watch out every week.

2016 CHAMPIONS FILE: THREE BIG HURDLES LEFT

Champion Hurdle (Cheltenham, March, 2016) There are three darts left for the young pretenders to hit bullseye in the principal trials before the big race in March.

The Christmas Hurdle at Kempton on Boxing Day, the Irish Champion Hurdle at Leopardstown in the third week of January and the Kingwell Hurdle at Wincanton in February could contain the Champion Hurdle winner, if my big-race stats are any guide.

Here are the major trial results for winners of the Cheltenham title in the last 10 years, followed by those who have matched the stats so far, diary dates for the remaining top trials, and BETDAQ offers – with those taken – to date.

BINOCULAR (in top trend races after March the previous year): 3rd Christmas Hurdle
BRAVE INCA: won Punchestown Champion Hurdle, won Irish Champion Hurdle
FAUGHEEN: won Punchestown Champion Novice, won Christmas Hurdle
HURRICANE FLY (first win): won Punchestown Champion Hurdle; won Hattons Grace Hurdle; won Irish Champion Hurdle

ROCK ON RUBY: 2nd Christmas Hurdle
PUNJABI: won Fighting Fifth; 3rd Kingwell Hurdle
SUBLIMITY: 4th Punchestown Champion Novice.

The 2016 qualifiers: Faugheen (BETDAQ Punchestown Champion Hurdle); Nichols Canyon (Punchestown Champion Novice Hurdle and Hattons Grace); Identity Thief, Top Notch, Wicklow Brave (1-2-3 Fighting Fifth)

Diary dates: Christmas Hurdle, Kempton, December 26; Irish Champion Hurdle, Leopardstown, January 24; Kingwell Hurdle, Wincanton, February 20

Betdaq offers: 2.42 Faugheen, 8.6 Nichols Canyon, 37.0 Top Notch, 43.0 Wicklow Brave.

SINGLE PAYMENT FOR SOUTHWELL NAP

LINGFIELD My original selection is now a non runner at 1.00. I had selected Halo Moon this morning but he has been withdrawn.

That doesn’t leave much choice to me as I think Line D’Aois and Cheat The Cheater are both quite risky. What we are left with is hoping Bredon Hill Lad can follow up a two length Uttoxeter success last time out.

Although his price has shortened up considerably, there is some room for maneuver on the BETDAQ orange this morning. Currently showing 2.12 to Back and 2.32 to Lay we can make an offer to avail of the 2% Commission. Ask for 2.25 and wait to be matched. He won well enough last time out to suggest that he can easily dispose of the remaining three rivals. I was wary of Bredon Hill Lad earlier when selecting Halo Moon but it looked a two horse at that stage and now the Gardner looks nailed on here.

An hour later, there is a trickier looking race. Listen Boy is a difficult one to assess having not run since this time last year, 353 days to be precise. He could still be on a decent mark but on this ground, it could prove tough for him.

The one I have a slight preference for is Saint Raph. He goes well in soft ground and has some course form. He won by a massive 34 lengths in January at Wincanton. He’s still on a competitive mark, jumps well and may be the safest bet in the race.

SOUTHWELL Also over the sticks, I have two more selections. The first runs at 1.15 in the Novices Hurdle.

Crosspark could be a decent yardstick for this having won over course and distance on his debut under rules. He also won a Point to Point last March so is certainly no slouch.

I’m going to side with Singlefarmpayment however. He’s got the man in form, Richard Johnson, on his back and has a mark of 125 following two seconds in his recent runs. He’s a consistent sort and this looks an ideal race for him to get off the mark with a nice weight concession.

In the following race, Carlo Rocks looks like he should be suited by a step up in trip. He receives plenty of weight with Harry Skelton in the plate and was staying on second behind a tiring winner at this track last time.

DAQMAN’S BETS (Staked 1-9pts on strength, 10pts for a Banker)
BET 6pts win BREDON HILL LAD (1.00 Lingfield)
BET 8pts win (nap) SINGLEFARMPAYMENT (1.15 Southwell)
BET 4pts win CARLO ROCKS (1.45 Southwell)
BET 4pts win SAINT RAPH (2.00 Lingfield)
