NOW FIVE HOT NAPS UP FOR DAQMAN: Daqman made it five winning naps out of eight when the big gamble, Remembering, scampered away from her field at Catterick yesterday. Remember to get on the BETDAQ exchange early!

WON 2-9 REMEMBERING (Monday nap)
WON 9-10 ETERNAL PEARL (Sunday nap)
WON 8-13 SEA ON TIME (Thursday nap)
WON 11-10 SEEKING GOLD (Wednesday nap)
WON 5-6 FARIBA (Monday nap)

IT’S 50:50 THE EBOR WINNER IS IRISH: York opens tomorrow and Daqman completes his previews for the meeting with the strongest stats of any big race in the Flat season, the Ebor Handicap on Saturday. They favour an Irish horse (50:50) in a high stall, so watch out for the draw.

STRONG STATS FOR THE EBOR

HEADS UP Irish trainers have a 50% Ebor strike-rate in the last eight seasons, and saddle three of the first five in the betting for Saturday’s race, with Earl Of Tyrone favourite off a hat-trick for Paddy Twomey, even hotter after his Limerick defeat of Raise You who took the Irish St Leger Trial at the Curragh on Saturday.

⭕ 3.35 York, Saturday (Ebor Handicap) STATS: Though it may not be your only BETDAQ bet, some of the strongest stats in any race this season may prompt you to an offer you can’t refuse!

LAYS LOGIC: Only one winning favourite in the decade; only two this century. Just one winner aged seven or over in 43 years; only two carried less than 9st in the last 15 seasons.

TRAINERS: WINNERS Johnny Murtagh 2, Saeed Bin Suroor 2 (among 5 places), Ger Lyons 1. LOSERS Team Johnston 0-19; Andrew Balding 0-12, William Haggas 0-12, Hughie Morrison 0-12, Alan King 0-10, Willie Mullins 1-13.

JOCKEYS: John Egan 3 placed out of 4 (one win), Jamie Spencer 2 wins and 8 places ; Andrea Atzeni 1, Ben Coen 1, Jim Crowley 1, Frankie Dettori 1, Colin Keane 1, Tom Queally 1.

STALLS: (last 16 renewals at York): 18, 14, 14, 16, 22, 10, 16, 18, 16, 6, 15, 18, 21, 2, 12, 14.

* Prior previews: TOMORROW’S RACING Great Voltigeur and Juddmonte International, stats published last Wednesday.

THURSDAY’S Lowther Stakes, Premier Yearling Stakes, Yorkshire Oaks, published last Thursday.

FRIDAY’S Nunthorpe Stakes, previewed last Friday.

SHAHBAZ LOOKS THE BIZ

⭕ 5.10 Chelmsford Shahbaz and Hollie Doyle set the bar quite high here.

The youngster has run well in both his starts, on debut at Yarmouth and then runner-up last time out at Newcastle behind Solutre. Both those races looked above average compared to the usual at the respective courses.

His form appeals more than that of Hover On The Wind who has run with credit in two starts at Yarmouth.

DIAMOND SPARKLES HERE

⭕ 5.30 Wolverhampton Brazen Diamond is a winner without penalty having romped home here in an apprentice race earlier in the month and can follow up under Nicola Currie who is riding with confidence again.

Brazen Diamond is still open to improvement on just her fifth start and can continue the good form of trainer Robyn Brisling who has won with three of his last 17 runners.

She won going away last time (and had four lengths in hand at the line) so the drop back in trip might not be seen as an immediate positive but she ran well enough over course and distance when third on debut so I’m not too concerned about this.

Her rivals are all looking fairly exposed and within the grip of the handicapper.

The exception might be Viewfromthestars who didn’t seem to enjoy Brighton on his handicap debut but still ran well enough in third and should be suited by the switch back to the all-weather.

MAYBE THIS TIME?

⭕ 6.00 Wolverhampton The clear morning favourite on Betdaq Betting Exchange is Aconcagua Mountain who is one I’d want to take on.

The four-year-old lost his maiden tag with a nose success at Redcar last time out – his first run for trainer Iain Jardine.

It’s a big leap of faith though at current prices to expect him to do it again on the all-weather. He was last of nine on his only previous start on the artificial surface.

It’s a modest contest but could easily be within the grips of Big Time Maybe particularly if the change of stable proves a positive.

He’s got plenty of miles on the clock but has run some of his better races here at Dunstall Park.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
