FIVE BETDAQ RACES IN A ROW AT KEMPTON: DAQMAN previews the five BETDAQ sponsored races on the Kempton card tonight including the £70,000 Betdaq – Sports Betting Exchange Handicap at 6.40pm with over £43,000 to the winner.

There’s a fantastic card tonight at Kempton with five races in a row sponsored by BETDAQ.

I’m concentrating all my efforts today on this quintet of races.

4:40 £500 Free Bets At Betdaq Maiden Stakes (Div 1) (2yo, Class 5, 1m, 9 runners) The first of two divisions and John Gosden has an interesting debutant here with Anglo Irish – a Dansili colt and the third foal of a mare who has had success with her first two offspring. The market is probably the best guide however and so far on BETDAQ he is easy to back at around 8. Of the ones with form Al Busayyir appeals a little more than the current market leader Fine Vintage. Al Busayyir has had two runs at Wolverhampton shaping with promise on both occasions. Fine Vintage was third on debut at Wolverhampton behind a 50/1 shot and the form of that doesn’t look especially special.

5:10 £500 Free Bets At Betdaq Maiden Stakes (Div 2) (2yo, Class 5, 1m, 8 runners) The second division but a totally different shaped race to the first division and it would be a massive surprise here if one of the debutants didn’t win as the four with form don’t look anything out of the ordinary. There’s plenty of support for John Gosden’s newcomer here, The Third Man, who could easily go off an odds-on favourite. He has a top pedigree and the stable are in good form. He’s too short to be of interest so I’ll look at Ralph Beckett’s Raging Bob instead at around 14. He’s a half-brother to six winners and appeals on paper.

5:40 Winners Are Welcome At Betdaq Nursery (2yo, Class 5, 1m, 6 runners) Just the six runners in the nursery but it looks competitive. Mr Wickfield has the least experience but has shaped well in three starts and could still be improving and is of interest on his handicap debut. He was a good course and distance second last time out.

6:10 Betdaq 1st UK Race Commission Free Handicap (3yo+, Class 4, 2m, 8 runners) With Mr Burbidge, who was seeking a four-timer, now out of the race I’m safe to play my nap card on Clerk’s Choice who won’t have any stamina problems as he was useful over hurdles and also shaped well here on the flat over 1m 4f last time when third to Presburg after a seven month absence. The step up in trip is the key here and he will prove hard to beat.

6:40 Betdaq – Sports Betting Exchange Handicap (London Middle Distance Series Final) (3yo+, Class 2, 1m 3f, 14 runners) The race of the night and quite fitting that it should provide an open market in a competitive event. Castilo Del Diablo heads the BETDAQ market but I’m not sure I’d want to be going in at short odds given his latest effort over C&D when only seventh and a beaten favourite. At better odds Troopingthecolour looks of interest after an impressive course win last time and he is well drawn tonight.
