Embittered Another O’Brien runner, has never won beyond 2m 2.5f and is stepping up in trip as an eight-year-old. Chances.
Fire Attack A third starter for O’Brien; wins on any ground up to 2m 5f but only in small fields so far. Led to five out, fell, in the Galway Plate (2m 6.5f). Another (early) faller was A Wave Of The Sea.
Today is a rerun of the Plate finish, which resulted: 1 Hewick, 2 Darasso, 3 El Barra (favourite), 6 Discordantly, 7 Ronald Pump, 9 Cape Gentleman, 11 The Jam Man, 12 Gin On Lime.
Hewick has been raised 8lb, and Darasso is 4lb better off for half a length.
Both are bred for further, but Hewick has already proved his stamina big time. He won the Sandown Gold Cup (3m 6f) in the Spring.
Darasso was only eighth in the Kerry National last year, well backed, but was found to have bled. You have to bet that’s been mended.
Gabbys Cross Beat Busselton in the Galway Blazers (2m 6.5f) at the big Ballybrit meeting in July, with Jeremys Flame (kept on) sixth. Busselton is 4lb better off but both have been kept to trips short of 3m. Henry De Bromhead (1-21) is out of form.
Gin On Lime Another for Henry De Bromhead. Has never won or placed beyond 2m 4f. Success only as a novice and in mares races. Cheekpieces first time today.
Recite A Prayer In the first two for Willie Mullins in three out of four races of 3m or more, progressing a stone in four starts since April. Runner-up in the Pat Taaffe Chase at the Punchestown Festival and winner of the Killarney National. Had a run back in July.

IT’S COME ROUND FOR ORBITAL
⭕ 1.43 Redcar Stall 2 has won this nursery three years out of four and it just so happens that the open secret of winning such a race is on display from that very gate.
Three maiden or novice events qualify a horse for a handicap mark, and the Gleneagles colt Orbital Chime is a favourite with the potential over the exposed quartet that come next in the market.
They’ve had a total of 32 races and two of them, Talamanca and Machito, have seemingly reached the end of their run; both beaten favourite last time out.
The Twilight Lady is lugging a penalty and Spirit In My Soul, an overburdened filly, five times a loser, has reached the frame just once.
Orbital Chime’s trainer, James Horton, is 4-7 at Redcar in his first season and has a 50% strike rate when P J McDonald rides for him.

FLEET LOOKS SET TO SAIL IN
⭕ 3.35 Goodwood An intriguing Listed has Royal Fleet on top on the ratings, with his jockey, William Buick, currently 7-12 and bidding for a four-timer today.
Buick’s £351k Woodbine Mile triumph in Canada at the weekend was followed by a class-5 handicap at Lingfield to complete a Charlie Appleby hat-trick when he returned yesterday; all in a week’s work, which had started with a four-timer at Sandown.
Royal Fleet is his sole Appleby play today, with two others here at Goodwood for Andrew Balding and one for Charlie and Mark Johnston.
The four-year-old was winner or second in three consecutive Group-2 races at Meydan at the start of the year, retaining his hood from English handicaps despite being gelded last autumn.
I’m not keen on any animal in a hood at this level or of a big horse like Royal Fleet on turns and cambers like you get at Epsom and Goodwood. But what of the opposition?
Cadillac is more of a Vauxhall Astra, changing stables twice, and second twice in summer Listeds; Peter The Great is a handicapper who led a Group 3 at Haydock last month but faded and finished a long last.
BETDAQ value Despite the defection of Sinjaari, Royal Fleet was a shade better than even money this morning.
