IT’S CHAMPAGNE ON THE ROCKS: Daqman’s naps were back in winning form last night as Life On The Rocks (WON 2-1) just did enough to win by a neck at Wetherby. He’s a night raider again today when he hits on an Angel at around 5-1 at the Hamilton evening meeting..

ROYAL ASCOT WEEK IN ADVANCE: Daqman continues his race-by-race Royal Ascot guide seven days in advance, checking out next Wednesday’s card. Stats and facts include top trainers, the draw, and Lays Logic on the favourites, with the ratings bands that contain the winners.

MEMORIES ARE MADE OF THIS..

⭕ 4.00 Yarmouth today The best race of the day at Yarmouth would you believe! Going soft, which is also hard to believe when Fontwell and Hamilton are on the firm side.

The nearest Diderot has been on turf in England is 12th, though that was in class 2 and 3. Leuven Power has also been up in grade since scoring at Salisbury and is now gelded.

But dropping down right now to this class-4 level of company is 3.1 Betdaq Betting Exchange offer Magic Memories: 3rd at Newmarket on heavy and 5th in the Spring Mile at Doncaster on the soft.

Lakota Brave ran a good race on the soft at Bath in April but Baltimore Boy is 0-8 on turf. He was favourite, third with Nap Hand fifth, on the Kempton AW surface recently.

⭕ 5.40 Kempton This maiden fillies’ race is one to skip betting-wise, but you should watch it, or watch a reprise, to see how Zilfee performs.

Zilfee, by Sea The Stars out of a Sadler’s Wells mare, is half-sister to prolific winner Enable, who won four Oaks and an Arc.

Zilfee (trained by the Gosdens) faces a Golden Horn filly, Inlet (Sir Michael Stoute), and the Frankel-sired Al Haal (Owen Burrows).

FLAG FLIES FOR ENGLAND MATCH

⭕ 7.20 Hamilton Edward Bethell won this last year with Rock Of England in blinkers first time. Blinkers are now tried on his Angel Of England in the same ownership.

At first glance, it looks a tough assignment against a trio which all scored last time out. The top two in the handicap have five wins between them.

But Angel’s owners didn’t deny going for a touch with him at Nottingham in August – today’s jockey, Callum Rodriguez, did the steering job – and the opposition here may not have conditions to suit.

Bengurion has been kept to AW, lucky to win at Kempton the last day when the second horse home, a runaway winner since, was bumped at the start and raced wide.

Mr Irrelevant, three from four with his last success over this CD, has to carry a penalty and has won his races mainly with cut in the ground.

Pals Battalion and Dubai Hills had their sole success on the soft, while Moyola is 0-8 on turf.

BRAVE’S ON THE WARPATH AGAIN

⭕ 8.45 Kempton Just a neck defeat in a quartet of races – with two of the successful three at Kempton – stopped James Fanshawe completing a four-timer with Murau in this stayers’ qualifier.

Now he hopes to hit a perfect four with Wannabee Brave, raised only 8lb since his sequence started at the end of April.

Wannabee Brave scored off a mark within a pound of today’s at Kempton earlier in his career, and Daqman has followed his recent hat-trick, as favourite each time but on different tracks: Wolverhampton, Chelmsford and Lingfield (holds Abraaj) have all come alike to him.

Damascus Steel has scored here over 1m 4f and may get further, while Le Rouge Chinois won by a nose at Lingfield.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
