SIX WINNING BETS IN FOUR DAYS: Daqman called for the doctor after early pain on Tuesday but his wallet was restored to health with a winner at 9-2, taken at 13-2 on BETDAQ in the morning. So the winner-a-day sequence continues.

Tuesday:
WON 9-2 DOCTOR KHAN JUNIOR from 7.5 on BETDAQ

Monday: profit on the day 13.9pts
WON 5-4 KEEP RUNNING
WON 8-11 THE CALTONIAN (nap) better than evens on BETDAQ

Sunday
WON (2nd w/p) 14-1 TOMMIE BEAU (bull’s-eye bet, Sussex National)

Saturday
WON 7-2 CARRIGEEN CASTLE from 8.3 on BETDAQ
WON 2-7 HANDSTANDS (Daq Multiples)

ANOTHER 17.0 BET FOR CHELTENHAM: Daqman has this week named 21.0 and 17.0 outsiders for Cheltenham, and has another one ante-post today in the BETDAQ Sportsbook, again at 17.0.

17.0 BOY ANTE-POST IS ADVISORY

PAY AS YOU GO! If you can back a horse ante-post for Cheltenham just before he wins his prep, you could be on a bet for nothing at the festival.

One of the Daqman Fortune Cookies, Broadway Boy is among a small field for Saturday’s Hampton Novices’ Chase at Warwick.

Paul Nicholls has won it twice in the last three years but the one he saddles, Brave Kingdom, has no fancy entries and is still a novice improver.

The nearest rivals to Broadway Boy in Saturday’s opening market, rated 6lb and 9lb behind him, are Grey Dawning and Apple Away, first and third at Haydock in November, but the winner has been beaten since by a Brave Kingdom stablemate.

I shall take the 17.0 Broadway Boy for the Brown Advisory (2.20 March 13) in the BETDAQ Sportsbook and, one way or another, cover my investment with a bet or bets in Saturday’s Warwick trial.

The front of the Brown Advisory market will thin down, with Willie Mullins choosing between Grangeclare West and Fact To File (it’s not a race he does well in) and Stay Away Fay engaged in the Gold Cup.

COBDEN TAKES TICKET TO RIDE

⭕ 2.00 Doncaster: This sees the return of Demachine, whose record after a long break is 112.

He drops down from three chases at Grade-3 level, which included the Topham over the Grand National fences.

This year his target is the Great Yorkshire, here at Doncaster on January 27, which his age group or older have won four of the last five renewals.

I had that race in mind for Malina Girl but the mare’s trainer has her in the market for Saturday’s Warwick Classic.

De Machine is locked together with Raffle Ticket today; both are 10-year-olds off 133, but interesting that Harry Cobden takes the Raffle Ticket mount again after being pipped a neck at Taunton just before Christmas, trying to give 17lb to the winner, with the rest 11 and more l3 lengths behind.

Betdaq Betting Exchange 5.3 De Machine, 6.5 Raffle Ticket

TOMMIE’S TOUGH EDUCATION

⭕ 2.50 Leicester (MEETING GOES AHEAD after four morning inspections) Tommie Gun is being given plenty of tricky, hard work and has so far passed with flying colours.

First he took on one of Nicky Henderson’s top bumper team (second) then won over the sticks in the shape of the stiff brush hurdles at Southwell.

Now he must face the mud and undulations of Leicester, giving 6lb to every other player. I’m gunning for Tommie to boost his education at 2.84 on BETDAQ.

BE SAVVY AND BET ON STAVVY

⭕ 3.35 Doncaster There was steady money this morning for a rare bumper runner out of Jane Chapple-Hyam’s stable. The grey €120,000-buy Stavvy (BETDAQ 6.6) is related to Group winners via the sire, Roaring Lion, and dam, Pivotal.

⭕ 7.30 Kempton Andrew Balding is in a fair seam of form again (sequence of three wins, three seconds, Jan 4-6) and Popcorn Magic can follow up his winning November debut.

A Mastercraftsman colt out of a Nathaniel mare, he has been marked down to make strides into the more lucrative winter AW racedays to come, so must continue in form here.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.

Did you know? DAQMAN’s tips are posted each and every day so he’s always on hand to help with your horse racing betting.
