HE’S THE ONE! PROFITS ALL THE WAY WITH DAQMAN TIPPING PLANS: Daqman made it three winning naps out of four and six out of 10 since the start of the jumps season proper on November 8 with Lexi The One (WON 7-4) at Southwell yesterday. His six-hit sequence sends the naps to the front of his big three tipping plans, which are all in profit:

📈 PROFIT + 48.52 Daily naps (10-point stakes)
📈 PROFIT + 41.25 Daqman v Pricewise (10-point stakes)
📈 PROFIT + 37.80 Bull’s-eye bets (stakes to win 50)

SECOND NAPS HAT-TRICK BID AFTER ONLY 10 DAYS OF THE SEASON: He had two bets out of three yesterday for a profit on the day of 18.40, with Midnight Ginger (WON 7-4) the first to strike. The six winning naps make up a best-bets sequence of 1133101211, with only one out of the frame. So it’s Daqman’s second try for the hat-trick at Warwick today:

✔️ WON 8-11 EASYWORK
✔️ WON 1-1 KILCONNY BRIDGE
✔️ WON 2-1 IRISH PROPHECY
✔️ WON 2-1 DUFFLE COAT
✔️ WON 11-8 GLENCORA
✔️ WON 7-4 LEXI THE ONE

FRAN’S THE SLICK-JUMPING GIANT

⚠️ HEADS UP Daqman follows horses and he follows races, searching for quality, as he continues to compile his early-bird Fortune Cookies. His latest off the drawing-board is Franigane.

⭕ 12.30 Ffos Las Franigane (BETDAQ 7.3 this morning) has had a write-up usually reserved for six-figure hurdles debutants saddled by Gordon Elliott or Nicky Henderson. In fact, he cost £28,000 a year ago at the Tatts sales at Cheltenham.

One of those who inked his cheque-book was his trainer, Harry Whittington, whose Sparsholt stable was red hot last season and has a promising big-race flag-bearer in Rouge Vif.

Rouge Vif was a smart winner back to Cheltenham last month, with his Arkle defeat by Put The Kettle On in March serving only to confirm that he needs good ground.

Harry reports that Rouge Vif has strengthened up a lot over the summer and he looks more likely to be effective on a Spring surface.

What he then said about Franigane had his interviewer wondering if he had the right horse, after the five-year-old’s modest efforts in bumper and Points.

‘He’s transformed over the summer and jumps unbelievably well for a novice’, says Harry.

Two or three in this have won or been placed already, and Franigane’s strapping build suggests this 2m is on the short side.

But I decided a couple of weeks back that he should be given a chance as a Fortune Cookies’ early bird, and today’s heavy ground will make the 2m feel more like 3m.

Franigane is related to winners on the Flat, over hurdles and in chases, and the dam is related to both a French Derby hero and a cross-country winner. Potential or what!

THIS LOOKS A GIFT FOR PRESENT

⭕ 3.15 Warwick When Present Man won the Coral Chase at Ascot (see below) four years back on Friday, it was part of a sequence of five winners out of six, still standing.

Yet there he was in October, scoring easily for Paul Nicholls in a veterans’ chase at Chepstow on his reappearance after 13 months off.

He was then unlucky not to be involved in the finish of the Silver Trophy at Wincanton 11 days back, when badly hampered by a faller at the third last.

Present Man (BETDAQ 4.3) doesn’t want too much rain. Other than that, not a lot stands in the way of a second veterans’ chase success in this Warwick handicap today. After all, he’s still only 10.

Potters Legend is 1-18 and his trainer, Lucy Wadham, 1-14, living in hope that wind surgery helps him return to his form of 2016 when a hat-trick bid was denied at Doncaster by none other than Present Man.

Valtor won the Silver Cup at Ascot nearly two years ago now, and has taken just a hurdles prize there since; his only successes in England. This is not Ascot.

It’s even longer- nearly three years – since his stablemate Gold Present scored, also at Ascot. Again wind ops must be both a restorative and a stimulant.

Vintage Clouds has another prep before the Becher Chase over the Grand National fences next month. He also goes back almost three years since his last success.

⭕ 2.05 Ascot, Friday (Coral Chase) The race that Present Man won in 2016 is the feature of Friday’s racing.

Venetia Williams, who landed a gamble in the handicap with Tenor Nivernais in 2015, is looking forward to soft ground for Espoir De Guye, a winner here in December before failing to complete at the festival in such lofty company as Imperial Aura and Galvin.

Guye’s dam is by Dom Alco, who got Silviniaco Conti, Neptune Collonges and Al Ferof, to name but a few as they say, so the extended trip (2m 5f) on Friday could be the making of him.

Red Risk was ring rusty when third at Market Rasen last month; Count Meribel needs good ground but I’m hopeful a field of eight or more will hold up for Espoir De Guye.

KHUZAAM! ITS MAGIC AT KEMPTON

⭕ 6.55 Kempton By Good Friday (April 2nd, 2021) I hope my pick for quality horse of the day tonight will have won two races, including this one, and then win his division of the AW championships that day.

I’m talking about Khuzaam, a Kitten’s Joy colt related on the dam’s side to Mawatheeq and the winners of four Classics. Kitten’s Joy has served me well, particularly with Roaring Lion and Kameko.

Khuzaam opened his account at Kempton, then ran away with a race there last October, trying to follow up in tonight’s Listed but pipped a short-head.

With racing interrupted, it was decided to give him time to develop and make an AW career this autumn and winter, starting tonight in this mission for revenge, back in the same Listed. I took 3.0 in the BETDAQ Betting Exchange

Khuzaam’s short CV so far sees him rise 20lb in three starts since he lost novice status. He is with the right man in Roger Varian and with the same jockey, Jim Crowley, who is 112 on him at Kempton.

Khuzaam is drawn 3, just like Roger’s previous winner of this, Ennaadd (2016), who went on to be fourth in the One-mile AW Championship Final.

Three-year-olds are always the worry, particularly if trained by Ralph Beckett, William Haggas or Hugo Palmer, all winners of this in the eight years.

Johan (Haggas) has risen 18lb through the handicaps (with 3-5); has won at Chelmsford but not yet raced at Kempton, and has to overcome stall 10 tonight. His 7lb rise after Chelmsford looks knee-jerk, as we now know he beat nothing well.

Kinross (Beckett) was on my early-bird’s list at the start of the 2020 Flat with the Guineas in mind but was well beaten by Kameko for a second time and then by Pinatubo. Could bounce back at this level: 6.5 on BETDAQ.

Imrahor (Palmer) won a novice 10 lengths in September but was a long last of 12 at Newmarket, attempting a Group race.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
