His last three wins were here and he is more than a stone lower now for a trainer who hits form in patches, Neil Mulholland, currently striking at 30%. Ragamuffin 41.0 for small win and place in nine-runner race.
⭕ 3.00 Wincanton Dan Skelton’s Elle Est Beau strikes a Grand National chord today, related as she is to Aintree-hero Many Clouds.
That suggests her step up to 3m will change her luck. An eyecatcher (2m) at Warwick in November; lost a shoe at Sandown when one of the favourites, stepped up to 2m 4f.
Joint favourite again to redeem herself over the same trip in the Anne Boleyn, back at Sandown, she was leading when a faller at the last.
Gaye Legacy has won twice at a lower level (holds Fortuna Ligna) and her new mark has pushed her up a grade to class 3.

That’s made possible because Paul Nicholls needs Freddie Gingell to claim off Sabrina, whose dam En Vedette (‘to push into the limelight’), makes appropriate the mare’s link with a star name of the Fifties and Sixties when the architecture of Sabrina’s bra was a marvel of the age.
Just Go For it is 20lb higher than her Wincanton win at the start of this month last year over shorter.
Tequila Blaze and Chloe’s Court are back to form but, like Just Go For It, a bit long in the tooth at 10 and 11.
