FRIDAY NIGHT AT DUNDALK: SHAMROCK heads to Dundalk for their evening card on the Polytrack. Yesterday’s NAP was second so it’s now 6 winning bets from the last 10.
I know the old saying ‘time flies’, but I was surprised to see that Dundalk are about to celebrate their 10th Anniversary in their new guise as an all-weather racecourse.

Another busy night at Dundalk tonight – and of course it’s not just the horses. If eight races are not enough for you don’t forget the track also stage an eight race greyhound card AFTER the last horse race !!
I’ll stick to the equines rather than the canines and the best bet on the card for me looks to be Magnolia Beach in the mile maiden at 6.45pm.
The Ger Lyons trained runner made a very satisfactory debut here last month when a 3/4 length second to Pit Stop over seven furlongs.
He gave the distinct impression that the step up to a mile here would be ideal and anything evens or above on BETDAQ looks worth snapping up.
