TUESDAY EFL CUP: We preview two Quarter Finals on Tuesday. Hull v Newcastle and the televised Liverpool v Leeds with recommended BETDAQ bets for both games.
Hull v Newcastle
7.45pm The first EFL Quarter Final is a very interesting one, we have a high flying Championship side against a struggling Premier League side. Newcastle did suffer a surprise defeat the weekend at home against Blackburn, who currently sit 20th in the Championship, however as a sign of intent towards this game and competition, Rafa Benitez rested six first team players. Hull’s confidence has to be low currently sat in 18th in the Premier League and while Newcastle are in the Championship, you can definitely argue that their squad is stronger than Hull’s. Hull have conceded in all of their last six games and with Newcastle appearing to be really focused for this game, we expect Newcastle to pose more problems than Hull. At around 2.32, we feel Newcastle are good value and worth an investment.

Liverpool v Leeds
7.45pm With Liverpool currently trading at 1.3 in the match market on BETDAQ, you have to think what sort of team with Jurgen Klopp name before backing a price that short. He made 11 changes in the last round against Spurs, and with Coutinho injured the weekend, along with some others nursing injuries – his hand might be forced into resting a few first team players here. With this in mind, and also factoring in that Leeds have conceded in the first half just twice in their last 13 games in the Championship – a low scoring affair looks more likely than not. We can’t see Leeds coming to Anfield and attacking too much, while a Liverpool side without their big stars up front could look disjointed to start with, under 2.5 goals is trading 2.86 which looks on the high side before seeing what team Jurgen Klopp names.
