EFL CUP QUARTER FINALS: We preview Tuesday’s EFL Cup games between ARSENAL v WEST HAM and LEICESTER v MAN CITY with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
ARSENAL V WEST HAM
7.45pm Things are heating up in the EFL Cup now and we have four great Quarter Finals ahead. West Ham have been in good form since Moyes came in, picking up an impressive 3-0 away win to Stoke in the Premier League at the weekend. They are now unbeaten in three, and two of those games were against Chelsea and Arsenal. The 0-0 draw with Arsenal was when they had home advantage though, and with Arsenal being so good at home – we might see a different result tonight.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Arsenal 1.55, West Ham 6.8 and the draw is 4.6. Given West Ham’s improvement there’s bound to be plenty of layers of Arsenal at 1.55 – however we feel that they are too big at that price.
Their home form is very impressive, with their only blip coming against Manchester United when they bossed that game. They are a different team at home compared to away, and we expect a different result here than when the sides met recently.

LEICESTER V MANCHESTER CITY
7.45pm Who can stop Manchester City? Next up on the chopping block is Leicester. Leicester have been impressive at home this season, however they suffered a shock 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace here at the weekend. That came out of the blue, as they had scored seven goals in their two games previous to that one! That being said, looking at the way in which City thrashed Spurs at the weekend – it’s very hard to see anything but a City win here.
They are currently trading 1.47 and that looks big enough for us to back. The Spurs midfield just couldn’t cope with them at the weekend, and neither could the Manchester United midfield before that. We expect Leicester to be overrun in the middle of the park here as well and City can continue their winning ways.
