It should be a cracker, as Real Madrid arrive into the game while on their best run under Zidane, winning their last four games. There’s no doubting that Barcelona will want to hammer Los Blancos as they always do, however there is an interesting stat when the team have met with Barcelona ahead of them by 10 points or more – they’ve met three times under those conditions, and Barcelona having yet to win – drawing one and losing two.
It would take a brave person to bet against Barcelona though given their recent record setting form. They have not lost in 22 games now at Camp Nou, scoring at least once in every game and only drawing two of those. They are also unbeaten in their last 39 games in all competitions, a Spanish record – one which they will want to keep extending.
It’s hard to see anything other than a Barcelona win here, given the form they have been in this season, and at around the 1.6 mark, they look value. They’ve won five of their last seven at home to Madrid in La Liga. However, the real value could be in the handicap markets, Barcelona are around 2.0 on the Asian -1 market, and that could be the best bet.
