EURO 2020 QUALIFIERS: We preview Friday’s games between ENGLAND V CZECH REPUBLIC and PORTUGAL V UKRAINE both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
ENGLAND V CZECH REPUBLIC
7.45pm England were superb in the Nations League; however they start from scratch again in their Euro 2020 campaign. Supporting the English National team has become “fun” again after their wonderful run at the World Cup and English fans have an exciting young side to enjoy. Southgate has been doing a great job and really has the team playing with passion which you’d have to say was missing for a few years. They should start with a win here and the markets agree.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; England 1.31, Czech Republic 13.5 and the draw is 5.8. Czech Republic finished second in their Nations League Group with Ukraine and Slovakia and if we are honest; they shouldn’t trouble this England side. Sometimes England games can be quite dull atmosphere wise but with the backing this side has now we expect an easy win for England here. They’re 1.89 -1.5 goals and that looks good value with the amount of goals this England team has in them.

PORTUGAL V UKRAINE
7.45pm Cristiano Ronaldo returns for Portugal on Friday night as they start the defence of their title. They managed to top their Group in the Nations League without Ronaldo, but you can’t say that CR7 won’t improve any side he comes into! Ukraine won’t be push overs as they topped their Nations League Group too; albeit at a lower level but it’s hard to see them troubling Portugal too much.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Portugal 1.44, Ukraine 9.8 and the draw is 4.8. Ukraine do have some poor recent results away from home, and we expect Portugal to get the job done here in front of their own fans. Ronaldo returning should be a big boost, however we still can’t see a lot of goals in this one. Portugal’s success recently has come from being solid at the back and we can see Ukraine coming here to defend too. We expect a Portugal win but in a quiet game – we like under 2.5 goals at 1.8.
