EURO 2020 QUALIFIERS: We preview Monday’s games between MONTENEGRO V ENGLAND and PORTUGAL v SERBIA both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
MONTENEGRO V ENGLAND
7.45pm England started their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign with a bang on Friday night with a 5-0 win over Czech Republic. After a great run in the World Cup, an impressive Nations League and a great start to Euro 2020 qualifying – their fans have every reason to be happy! This is a tricky away trip against Montenegro, however they should have the class to come through it and it’s hard to see past an England win.
The markets agree too, with the match odds at the time of writing currently trading; Montenegro 12.5, England 1.37 and the draw is 5.1. Raheem Sterling was the star on Friday night with a hat-trick and he will be looking to continue his excellent form. It’s been 21 away competitive games since England last loss; you have to go all the way back to 2009! We can see Montenegro putting 11 men behind the ball here and trying to frustrating England – we can’t see the hosts offering much going forward and that could lead to a dull affair. We expect England to get the job done and win ugly, but without many goals. Under 2.5 goals is 2.02 and that’s very appealing – it’s hard to see England scoring a lot here and they can keep a clean sheet too.

PORTUGAL V SERBIA
7.45pm Portugal didn’t get off to the best of starts on Friday night with a 0-0 draw at home to Ukraine. They have built their recent success on being solid at the back, however that has led to an awful lot of draws. Serbia will come here to defend and this could be a very dull and tactical affair. Serbia were able to draw 1-1 with Germany last Wednesday and while that was only a friendly, they will be tricky to beat here for the current European Champions.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Portugal 1.62, Serbia 7.0 and the draw is 4.1. There will be plenty of Portugal layers at around 1.62, especially for an early trade, as they don’t score many goals. We feel the best value in this one is in the goals market though. Under 2.5 goals is currently 1.81 and everything about this fixture just screams unders. Both teams will be solid at the back and we can see a very close game here – we felt unders should be at least ten ticks lower and we’re happy to back the 1.81.
