EURO 2020 QUALIFIERS: We preview Saturday’s Euro 2020 Qualifiers between ENGLAND v BULGARIA and SERBIA v PORTUGAL with recommended BETDAQ bets.
ENGLAND V BULGARIA
5pm After being busy with the UEFA Nations League semi-finals; England still find themselves top of Group A despite having playing less games than everyone else in the Group. If we’re being honest, this Group should be plain sailing for Gareth Southgate’s men and this evening should be a walk in the park too.
The markets agree, with the match odds at the time of writing currently trading; England 1.1, Bulgaria 34.0 and the draw is 14.5. Bulgaria sit bottom of Group A with two points from four games, starting their Euro 2020 campaign with two draws against Montenegro and Kosovo. The fact they couldn’t beat Montenegro with home advantage shows how little quality they have in their side and England should blow them away here. We like England to cover the handicap; they’re currently 1.89 -2.5 goals and with home advantage they should easily cover that. They have been impressive in front of goal in recent times and they will outclass Bulgaria here.

SERBIA V PORTUGAL
7.45pm This is a very interesting game in Group B. A quick look at the table would make you think Portugal are in trouble; however they were busy winning the UEFA Nations League so have only played two games. They have only drawn those two though, and Ukraine have got off to a flyer with ten points from four games. A loss here for either side would be a huge blow, and probably mean they are fighting for second place rather than topping the Group.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Serbia 3.65, Portugal 2.26 and the draw is 3.4. It has to be a worry for Portugal that they could only draw 1-1 when they hosted Serbia in this Group already, and prior to that they couldn’t find the net in a 0-0 draw with Ukraine – again with home advantage. Looking through their results; they do have problems finding the net and coming to Serbia is always a tough place to win. We can’t have them as short as 2.26 here and from a value point of view we’re very happy with that lay. We expect a much closer game than those odds suggest.
