EURO 2020 QUALIFIERS: We preview Sunday’s Euro 2020 Qualifiers between SCOTLAND V SAN MARINO and WALES v CROATIA with recommended BETDAQ bets.
SCOTLAND V SAN MARINO
5pm It’s hard to know whether this is a good or bad fixture for Scotland! They have been woeful in Euro 2020 Qualifying and although their hopes were already gone; a 4-0 loss to Russia on Thursday night would have put a huge dent in their confidence. They really need a win for a boost and San Marino are the ideal team to play; however imagine the fallout if they didn’t win this tie! It’s easy to see them starting nervously, but it’s almost impossible to see anything but a Scotland win.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Scotland 1.01, San Marino 140.0 and the draw is 55.0. Obviously Scotland are going to win, such is the lack of quality in the San Marino team, but we can see them making life reasonably difficult for Scotland. Belgium scored nine against them on Thursday night but with Scotland low on confidence we feel San Marino can keep the scoreline a lot more respectable than that. Under 5.5 goals looks good value at around 1.8 – San Marino are unlikely to score and it’s hard to see Scotland running riot.

WALES V CROATIA
7.45pm What a huge game in Group E. Wales need to win too – Croatia sit top of the Group with 13 points and after a draw with Slovakia on Thursday night, Wales are still in fourth six points behind the leaders. In the middle are Slovakia with ten points and Hungary with nine points. The situation for Wales isn’t dire yet, but they desperately need to start winning games and this would be a great time to start!
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Wales 3.1, Croatia 2.46 and the draw is 3.4. It’s hard to see how Wales can outclass this Croatia side – especially as they have been very poor in qualifying thus far. They would be in a much worse position if it wasn’t for some Bale magic and although they have home advantage here, the 2.46 on Croatia is just too big to turn down. They have been the best team in this Group and with Wales underperforming, Croatia can go a long way to ending their hopes of qualifying with a win tonight.
