EUROPA LEAGUE THURSDAY: We preview Thursday’s Europa League action with the games between RENNES V ARSENAL and CHELSEA V DYNAMO KIEV both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
RENNES V ARSENAL
5.55pm We’re down to the Last 16 in the Europa League on Thursday night and we start with Rennes v Arsenal. This will be a very interesting market – Rennes obviously play at a much lower level than Arsenal however The Gunners have been struggling away from home lately and they also have a huge clash with Manchester United in the Premier League at the weekend; although we expect a full strength XI here – however Lacazette is suspended. Rennes should be well rested for this tie and fully focus given their Ligue 1 game at the weekend was postponed.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Rennes 4.3, Arsenal 2.02 and the draw is 3.6. Rennes are only 10th in Ligue 1 which should lead you to believe that Arsenal should easily out-class them – especially over the two legs. Arsenal haven’t been great away from home in 2019; however they did play well at the weekend away to Spurs – they also have a great record against French sides and seem to enjoy the style of play from their teams. We feel that Arsenal are at least ten ticks too big here – Ligue 1 is a weak league and Rennes haven’t got much quality. Arsenal should come through this and the 2.02 is worth backing.

CHELSEA V DYNAMO KIEV
8pm What a difference two weeks makes in football. Sarri was under immense pressure as Chelsea got past Malmo FF in the last round and now after a good performance in the Carabao Cup final against City and beating Spurs in the Premier League; the pressure of keeping his job as eased – for now anyway! Chelsea should really ease past Dynamo Kiev; who are solid at this level however against a side like Chelsea it’s hard to see them being too competitive. The markets agree with Chelsea heavy odds on favourites.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Chelsea 1.3, Dynamo Kiev 14.0 and the draw is 6.0. Chelsea have had four wins from four games in the Europa League this season and it’s hard to see them not taking that five from five. They haven’t been great in the Premier League; however they’ve been more than comfortable in Europe. We expect Chelsea to go a long way to putting the tie to bed tonight and they look worth backing at 1.9 -1.5 goals in the handicap market.
