CHAMPIONS LEAGUE THURSDAY: We preview Thursday’s matches in the Europa League between LYON V EVERTON and ARSENAL V CRVENA ZVEZDA both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
LYON V EVERTON
6pm Everton slumped to a fourth straight defeat at the weekend when losing 2-0 at Leicester, and with Lyon able to beat them at Goodison, it’s hard to see them getting a result here. The squad just isn’t firing at the moment and until we see something better from them, it’s very difficult not to back against them. Lyon are in excellent form too, winning all of their last four across all competitions while scoring 12 goals. Included in those wins is a brilliant 3-2 win against Monaco. They’re unbeaten in their last five home Europa League games and with Everton in woeful form, the 1.52 on Lyon looks BETDAQ Multiples banker material. Lyon games are always packed with goals, however with over 2.5 trading 1.7 and Everton struggling we feel that the best value is with the Lyon win at 1.52.

ARSENAL V CRVENA ZVEZDA
8.05pm Arsenal left it late to get the job done when these sides met a couple of weeks ago, however that meant they are now three from three in the Europa League, and with them playing better football at home it’s difficult to see them not winning here. They are currently 1.37 though, which appeals more as a Multiple bet, so we’re going to look around the side markets for some extra value. Looking at their most recent seven games in all competitions, they have only conceded three goals – that’s a pretty good stat and with under 2.5 goals trading 2.6, that’s pretty tempting. Arsenal are highly likely to rest players here, given that’s what Wenger has done in their previous Europa League games, and we could see a 1-0 or 2-0 Arsenal win here. With under 2.5 goals trading so big, we have to back it. And it’s worth checking the prices of 1-0 and 2-0 home wins in the correct score market closer to kick off.
