EUROPA LEAGUE: We preview Thursday’s Europa League games between APOLLON LIMASSOL V EVERTON and ARSENAL V BATE BORISOV with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
APOLLON LIMASSOL V EVERTON
6pm Things are looking up for Everton at the moment. They arrive here off the back of two straight wins, one with Sam Allardyce in charge and the other just after he was announced as manager. Those wins have, however, came against West Ham and Huddersfield – so maybe we shouldn’t be quick to judge improvement just yet. They have been resting players in this competition, and have no hope of qualifying here – so one would assume that the first XI won’t start. They have yet to actually win a game in the group, only getting one draw from five games. Apollon Limassol have managed to keep Atalanta and Lyon from winning here in their last two home games and they have been playing much better football than Everton. While they also managed to draw with Everton away from home – it’s hard to see Everton winning here, and they look a great value lay at 3.2.

ARSENAL V BATE BORISOV
8.05pm With Arsenal assured of top spot already in Group H – it’s fair to say we won’t be seeing the first XI here. However, Wenger has took that approach for this group stage and they have won the group with a game to spare – however they only managed one goal in their last three games in the competition. Perhaps that is something to be worried about when the home side are trading 1.47, and you’d have to be a little brave to back them at those odds. If you fancy the upset, BATE are trading 7.4 at the moment. We feel that BATE can frustrate this inexperienced Arsenal side, and with under 2.5 goals trading as big as 2.52, that definitely jumps off the page as value. Arsenal’s last three Europa League games have seen under 2.5 goals win and with them already sure of top spot the atmosphere might be lacking here. This could be a dull game, and unders looks way too big.
