EUROPA LEAGUE: We preview Thursday’s Europa League games between ZENIT ST PETERSBURG V CELTIC and ARSENAL V OSTERSUNDS FK with recommended BETDAQ bets.
ZENIT ST PETERSBURG V CELTIC
6pm This tie is set up superb after Celtic edged the first leg 1-0. You’d have to wonder did Celtic blow their chances too. That might be a silly question to ask having won the game after starting at odds against, however they had so many chances that should could have put the tie to bed! Zenit were clearly rusty having not played a competitive game for a while, and will be much sharper tonight.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Zenit St Petersburg 1.64, Celtic 6.2 and the draw is 4.2. Zenit have an excellent record in big European games at home – they’ve won 10 of their last 11. However, there is one stat that offers Celtic a huge boost, in those 11 games Zenit have only kept a clean sheet three times. That could be massive with the scoreline the way it is, and Celtic will be hoping to find the net at some stage. Over 2.5 goals is trading 2.0 and with Zenit needing to attacking and leaking goals too, we feel that it should be odds on.

ARSENAL V OSTERSUNDS FK
8.05pm This tie was effectively put to bed after the first leg with a 3-0 Arsenal win. It’s Arsenal’s only chance to win something this season, so while Wenger may opt to rest some players, it won’t want to take too many chances – although it’s highly likely it’s going to be one way traffic here. At the time of writing, Arsenal are trading 1.31, with Ostersunds 11.5 and the draw is 6.2.
Ostersunds didn’t have a competitive game for quite a while prior to Arsenal visiting, so perhaps they might be a touch sharper here. However, as we seen in the first leg – there is a huge difference in class here, and we expect Arsenal to comfortably get the job done here. They’re currently trading 1.75 -1.5 goals and that looks great value after seeing the first leg.
