THURSDAY EUROPA LEAGUE: We preview the Europa League action featuring Man U and Southampton today with recommended BETDAQ bets.
Fenerbahce v Manchester United
6pm Manchester United face a tough trip to Turkey tonight after a disappointing 0-0 draw against Burnley the weekend, they comfortably beat Fenerbahce 4-1 at Old Trafford two weeks ago however you have to respect the Fenerbahce home record in Europe – they lost just once in seven games at home in Europe last season, they also beat Monaco here in the Champions League qualifiers and they’ve won their two Europa games too this season. So the 2.2 currently on offer for a United win does look short.
Jose Mourinho may well be happy with a draw here too given they are two points ahead of Fenerbahce and may take the option to rest some players, although he has fielded pretty strong sides in this competition thus far. Under 2.5 goals is currently trading 1.77 and that may offer some value as both teams could be cagey for the opening 20 minutes, over all though we feel that the United lay at 2.2 is the best bet here.

Southampton v Inter Milan
8.05pm This is almost a must win game for Southampton with all four teams within three points in Group K, and you’d have to say they were unlucky not to come away from the San Siro with at least a point when these sides met two weeks ago, they dominated but simply couldn’t find a goal. They’ve now scored just two in their last four which is something to worry about if you decide to back them at 1.86 here, the good news for Southampton fans though is Inter are having a poor run at the moment and currently sit 11th in Serie A, Frank De Boer hasn’t played his strongest XI in the Europa either so even though we feel Southampton are short at 1.86, we don’t want to oppose them either. We feel that this could become a very cagey affair and with under 2.5 goals 1.84, we are happy to back that.
