THURSDAY EUROPA LEAGUE: The focus switches back to the Europa League on Thursday and we preview the games between SPARTA PRAGUE v SOUTHAMPTON and MAN U v FEYENOORD with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
Sparta Prague v Southampton
6pm This is a massive clash for Southampton as they travel to play Sparta Prague who currently sit top of Group K with nine points, Southampton sit in second on seven, three points ahead of third placed Hapoel with four points – is it possible they will adopt a “don’t lose” approach here to hang onto second for the time being or will they go for the win to go top?
For the hosts, they are struggling with injuries – especially in midfield, and haven’t played since meeting Hapoel on the 3rd of this month. With all their injuries and lack of recent game time, they could be lacking going forward and with the way Southampton have been defending this season, they will have very high hopes of keeping a clean sheet. The problem for Southampton is they have failed to score themselves in their last three away games in Europe. Under 2.5 goals is 1.75 and we feel that offers huge value in what should be a very tight affair.

Manchester United v Feyenoord
8.05pm Manchester United were robbed of all three points with a late Arsenal equaliser the weekend and attentions will now turn to getting through to the knockout stages of the Europa League. Their group is a very open one at the moment, with Fenerbahce and Feyenoord both on seven points, with United in third on six. A win here would go a long way to seeing them through, and they should have the firepower to get past this Feyenoord side.
However, with United trading as short as 1.39 to win in 90 minutes, we want to look around for something a bit bigger. Feyenoord warmed up for this game with an easy 3-0 win the weekend, however they did only manage a draw against the lowly rated Zorya in their last game in Europe. We feel that United can cover the handicap here considering how strong they have been at home in Europe, and -1.5 goals is trading 2.06 which appeals.
