FA CUP PREVIEW: We preview three LIVE games on Saturday. Liverpool v Wolves, Crystal Palace v Man City and Southampton v Arsenal – all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
LIVERPOOL V WOLVES
12.30pm It’s fair to say that Liverpool are going through a rough patch at the moment. They’ve played seven games in 2017 thus far, and only won once against Plymouth, needing a replay to do so – bitterly disappointing too given the sides that they have played, they should be beating the likes of Swansea, Sunderland and arguably Southampton. Add all them to the FA Cup draw first time around against Plymouth, and you’d be up a lot of money laying them at short prices in 2017.
With that in mind, the 1.31 on the Liverpool win here really doesn’t appeal, granted that they should get the job done. Whether Klopp chooses to rest players or not after the midweek game against Southampton, we’ll have to wait and see. But we’re going to stay away from the match odds market here and focus on the goals markets. Under 2.5 goals appeals at 2.52, which looks very big. Liverpool have to be low on confidence, and Wolves will come here to defend – add that to the fact Klopp may rest some players and we could have a quiet game. We definitely feel that under 2.5 goals should be lower than 2.52 and that will be our best bet to kick off Saturday.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 2.52.

CRYSTAL PALACE V MANCHESTER CITY
3pm At 2-0 up and cruising against Spurs the weekend, it’s hard to believe City somehow managed to finish 2-2 – a reflection of how their season has gone so far maybe, things just haven’t clicked. Pep Guardiola possibly needs a bit of time to adjust to football in England, and you can tell the press are getting to him as each week passes.
The good news for City here though is they won’t have to be in top form today to win. Palace have been really poor this season, and while they had a good FA Cup run last season, and their only recent win was in this competition, it’s hard to see anything but a City win here and at 1.56, they are just about big enough for us to back.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Manchester City to beat Crystal Palace at 1.56.

SOUTHAMPTON V ARSENAL
5.30pm This is the highlight of the fourth round. Arsenal will face a tough test here against a Southampton side that should be full of confidence after beating Liverpool midweek to reach the EFL Cup Final. They went through a min-crisis in the Premier League when losing four in a row, but the Cup games have seemed to get them back on track, and now they’ve lost just once in their last seven in all competitions.
Arsenal are on an unbeaten run too, winning five of their last six with a comeback 3-3 draw with Bournemouth. We expect a pretty tight game here and the match odds somewhat reflect that with Southampton 3.65, Arsenal 2.2 and the draw 3.7. Could Wenger rest a few players here? They have a midweek game in the Premier League and the Champions League isn’t far away either. It’s hard to know what Southampton will do too, we can’t see them resting players but sitting back and defending usually suits them, however they can’t go overboard on that in a Cup tie. We feel it’s wise to stay away from the match odds market here, and with under 2.5 goals trading as big as 2.1, that is big enough for us to back.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 2.1.
