GLEN JOHNSON: BETDAQ Brand Ambassador Glen Johnson explains why this is the best Liverpool side he’s ever seen, as he previews Liverpool v Watford, Tottenham v Wolves, Manchester United v Everton and Arsenal v Manchester City.

BEST LIVERPOOL TEAM I’VE SEEN

Liverpool have started what is going to be a busy month for them very well, and thankfully they haven’t had any major injuries to negotiate so far.

The Reds are playing well, and if they can get through Christmas without any major blips then they can feel very confident of winning their first ever Premier League trophy.

Micky Quinn said earlier this week that this is the best Liverpool team he’s seen in history, which is a big call, but I think it’s the best one I’ve seen in my lifetime. The quality they possess, and the manager they have, is what makes them tick.

Everything is going right for them now, and a great week for them has ended with Jurgen Klopp’s new contract. I’d be astounded if they didn’t beat Watford on Saturday.

PEP WILL STICK IT OUT FOR CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

There’s whispers going round that Pep Guardiola will leave Manchester City at the end of the season, given this could be one of his worst seasons at the club, but I think Pep will be determined to stay and win the Champions League for the club.

That said, this team aren’t the City of last season and if they don’t win the Premier League or the Champions League then it’ll be interesting to see what the reaction is. However, I’m backing Pep to stay in this for the long haul and see through the job at hand.

SPURS ARE A JOY TO WATCH AGAIN

It’s refreshing to see the likes of Dele Alli back playing well at Tottenham since Jose Mourinho joined. I’ve said it before – if Jose sticks around then it will be a great project, but I still think he might only be there for one or two years.

Jose’s work there in getting the best out of Harry Kane and Alli is also great for England, as they are two players that are incredibly important for the national side. Long may their good form continue…

UNITED’S FORM DOWN TO PLAYERS, NOT OLE

It’s incredible what a few weeks can bring in football. Last month, it looked like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was a few games away from losing his job but wins against Tottenham and Manchester City means things are looking rosy again at Old Trafford.

Unfortunately, I don’t think Ole can take too much credit for this one. The Spurs match handled itself due to the return of Mourinho, while the motivation for a Manchester derby is there no matter who the manager is.

They are playing better now and if they can keep that up then the pressure is off Ole and his squad.

WEEKLY ACCA PREDICTIONS

Here are my weekly accumulator selections, where I fancy Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City to win, with another victory for Tottenham at Molineux against Wolves.

Liverpool 4-0 Watford
Manchester United 2-0 Everton
Wolves 1-1 Spurs
Arsenal 1-2 Manchester City
