PREVIEW
Being dumped out of the FA Cup by non-league Luton last weekend was the last straw for the Wolves board, as they sacked manager Stale Solbakken. Wolves have fallen to 18th-place in the Championship and have won just three of their last 16 league games, losing ten. That includes four of their last five.

They host Blackburn at Molineaux tonight having enjoyed a rare win over Rovers earlier in the season. But the visitors are in good form having won the last three on the bounce, including impressive victories over Barnsley and Nottingham Forest. They might also currently be without a manager but that doesn’t seem to have affected them.

Wolves have won two of the last three encounters between the sides, but these are their only two wins in the last eleven meetings and it’s not hard to see why they are uneasy favourites at around 2.48 on BETDAQ.

Blackburn have won on their last two visits to the Black Country and have a much more solid profile at present that a wayward Wanderers. Rovers are around 2.99 on BETDAQ and that looks a good price. They have scored more away goals (21) than their opponents have struck at home (16) and the lack of firepower in the Wolves’ frontline at present is concerning.
