PREVIEW

Arsenal are big favourites to reach the fourth round of the FA Cup this evening, in a game that could see the first start for former Gunners hero Thierry Henry. The Frenchman signed a short-term deal last week and he’ll likely start on the bench.

At the same stage last year Leeds were just seconds away from securing another famous FA Cup scalp before Cesc Fabregas netted a late penalty. Leeds will be really up against it to even force a replay as the Gunners have been in excellent form at the Emirates this season. Arsene Wenger’s side have also made it past the third round in each of the last 15 seasons – a longer run than any other club.

Leeds are still in the Championship play-off mix, but a run of poor results at the end of the 2011 saw them fall of the pace somewhat. Simon Grayson’s side needed a 97th minute penalty to secure all three points against ten-man Burnley last time out and they’ve conceded five times in two matches.

The recent meetings between the two clubs suggest there could be another goal-fest on the cards. There have been an impressive 31 goals in the past seven meetings between these two clubs, at an average of 4.4 goals per game. Leeds have conceded 36 times already this season and have looked susceptible at the back in recent weeks, so I’d recommend backing there to be more than 2.5 goals at 1.51 on BETDAQ.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)

Back over 2.5 goals at around 1.51: 6 points

Sunday’s Return: -5
