PREVIEW
Shane Long’s winner 13 minutes from time preserved Ireland’s 16 match unbeaten run. Giovanni Trapattoni would love to sign off the preparations with a win and the Emerald Isle look in a good position to do so.

Ireland have been excellent at the back and that has resulted in them conceding only three times in their unbeaten stretch. In the past three meetings with Hungary, Ireland have conceded only once and another shut out looks on the cards.

Hungary have failed to win their last two internationals and come into the fixture on the back of a 1-1 draw with Bulgaria. Goals have been a problem for the Hungarians and they’ll need vast improvements if they are to find a way through a resolute Irish back four. Sandor Egervari’s side have only scored twice in their previous two outings and they’ve managed just one goal against Ireland in their last three contests. This looks as if it’ll be a tight game, but one that Ireland should edge on the back of their impressive defense. My advice would be to back the Irish to win their final warm-up game at around 2.46 on BETDAQ.
