PREVIEW
Despite spending a lot of money over the summer, bringing in a huge number of players, Queens Park Rangers have taken just two points from a possible 15 this season and manager Mark Hughes finds himself under pressure to turn Rangers’ season around, starting with the home game against London rivals West Ham tonight.
In contrast to their neighbours, the newly-promoted East Londoners have made a made a most encouraging start to the Premier League and sit in tenth place. A win tonight against the Hoops could see the Hammers go as high as fifth in the league. Only Chelsea have kept more clean sheets than West Ham, while only Southampton have conceded more goals than QPR.
Aside from a 0-0 draw with league leaders Chelsea, QPR have failed to impress at home and at around 3.6 on BETDAQ the away side must be value. Mark Hughes’ side is missing four defenders from an already fragile looking back line and, even without the unlikely-to-play Andy Carroll, West Ham can take advantage.
RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)
Back West Ham at around 3.6 on BETDAQ: 3 points
Sunday: -4.00 points
SEPTEMBER RETURN TO DATE: -15.62 points
