PREVIEW
Arsene Wenger has done a superb job of rescuing Arsenal’s season after a particularly poor start. The Gunners have won nine of their past eleven matches across all competitions and they will be confident of picking up another victory at Carrow Road.
Norwich are currently ninth in the table and Paul Lambert will be delighted with the manner his side have taken to life back in the Premier League. The Canaries were beaten 3-2 by Aston Villa last time out, but gave a good account of themselves. There’s plenty of concern around the Canaries that they are not defending well enough and that has resulted in not one clean sheet all season. As an attacking force they are a decent outfit, but the space they leave should play into the hands of the Gunners.
Before the international break Arsenal hammered West Brom 3-0 to land their fourth consecutive league win. Robin Van Persie has been instrumental in the Gunners’ return to form and Norwich will have a tough task trying to keep the Dutchman quiet. Van Persie opened the scoring against the Baggies and with that netted his 29th league goal in 30 games.
Lambert’s side won’t go down without a fight, but Arsenal just look too strong at the moment. With Liverpool and Chelsea playing on Sunday, Arsenal have a great opportunity to close the gap and I would recommend backing the away win at 1.73 on BETDAQ.
RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)
Back Arsenal at around 1.73: 6 points
Friday’s Return: +4.55 points
