PREVIEW
Everton have a chance to extend their unbeaten run to nine matches when Harry Redknapp’s Tottenham make their way to Goodison Park. David Moyes will have been disappointed not to have got all three points against QPR, especially after taking an early lead from a stunning Royston Drenthe effort.
With the game at Goodison Park, the Toffees will fancy their chances of an upset given they have won four on the bounce there. Three of those victories were to nil, although Everton’s back four will be under serious threat from an attacking Spurs outfit. Tim Howard put pen to paper on a new deal and he’d love to mark the occasion with a clean sheet.
For the first time this season Spurs’ grip on the third Champions League spot is under pressure. Back-to-back defeats has seen Spurs’ lead on Arsenal cut down to four points and Redknapp knows the importance of putting pressure on Arsenal ahead of their Monday night clash.
Everton are safe from the drop and I expect Moyes to send out a team with attacking intent. Spurs only know one way to play and they’ll be delighted to have Gareth Bale back after he missed the United defeat. With both teams going for it, I would recommend backing over 2.5 goals at 2.1 on BETDAQ.
RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)
Back over 2.5 goals at 2.3: 4 points
Friday’s Return: -6.00 points
