PREVIEW
Norwich City entertain Liverpool later this afternoon sitting in 13th place in the table and nowhere near the ensuing relegation battle. Paul Lambert’s side have had an excellent season in their first year back in the top flight, although results have not been the best coming into this clash.
Last time out the Canaries were well beaten at struggling Blackburn, but their home form has been better. Fans will not have fond memories of the most recent game at Carrow Road as Man City smashed six past the hosts in a 6-1 drubbing.
Kenny Dalglish once again saw his side drop points at Anfield last weekend as West Brom came away with a 1-0 victory. Liverpool’s league form is woeful and they’ve now been beaten four times in the last six games. Home form has been well documented this season, but the Reds’ results on the road have been poor as well. Coming into the Norwich game they have lost four times in six away games.
Steven Gerrard was on the bench for the Baggies game and Dalglish is unlikely to risk his star man ahead of a fast approaching FA Cup final.
The Canaries earned a point from the last meeting with Liverpool and with home advantage I like their chances of going one better this time around. I’d recommend backing the home win at around 3.9 on BETDAQ.
RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)
Back Norwich at around 3.9 on BETDAQ :5 points

PREVIEW
Aston Villa’s defeat to Bolton on Tuesday evening has left them in a precarious position with only three games remaining of the season. As it stands Villa have a three point cushion on the relegation places, but Bolton have a game in hand.
If things were not tough enough for Alex McLeish, Villa head off to the Hawthorns on Saturday. West Brom are in excellent form and they would love to add to Villa’s problems. Tuesday’s loss was at home, but the side have struggled just as much when on their travels. Villa’s past six away league games haven’t produced a single win. It’s not all doom and gloom as there have been three draws in that run, but Villa know they’ll need to raise their game for this Midlands derby.
The Baggies will certainly fancy their chances of landing the league double over their rivals. Last weekend Roy Hodson returned to Anfield and left with all three points following a deserved 1-0 win. It was a terrific defensive effort and a consecutive clean sheet looks in reach given Villa’s struggles in front of goal.
Villa have only scored more than once in a game once in 12 league games and that was a 4-2 defeat to Chelsea. The Baggies are the form team with home advantage and they are worth backing at 2.16 on BETDAQ to land another blow to McLeish’s side.
RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)
Back West Brom at around 2.16: 5 points
Thursday’s Return: +4.38 points (no bet Friday)
APRIL RETURN TO DATE: -33.38
