PREVIEW
The weekend’s Premier League action kicks off with Fulham versus Stoke City and it’s an important game for both clubs with the pair enduring mediocre seasons.
Fulham were Europa League finalists a few years ago but have failed to really build on that and they have won just three of their last 18 league games. The Cottagers have also lost five of 13 games at Craven Cottage.
Stoke have also won just two of their last ten games and are one five teams to have managed just one away win all season. The Potters have lost four of their last six and are struggling for goals, hitting just eight on their travels this term and only three in their last eight ties away from the Britannia.
Tony Pulis’ men have also failed to keep a clean sheet in eight matches and they must fear Fulham’s Dimitar Berbatov as the ex-Manchester United man has never been on the losing side when he has found the net for his new team.
Martin Jol’s side have underperformed this season but they showed when beating West Ham 3-1 three games ago that they can deliver when the pressure is on.
With Stoke’s woeful away form a major negative for their supporters, Fulham are a confident selection to take all three points.
