PREVIEW
Part two of ‘Super Sunday’ sees Arsenal welcome Manchester United to the Emirates and the Gunners will be desperate to put the disastrous reverse fixture in August behind them. Arsene Wenger had an incredibly frustrating weekend where he saw his side blow a 1-0 lead to eventually lose 3-2 to Swansea. Betdaq are offering commission back on all Arsenal v Man United markets if either team comes from behind to win on Sunday.
Defensively Arsenal have not been good enough to claim to be title challengers and those faults were clearly on show in South Wales. Full back continues to be a problem position for the Gunners and whoever starts will face a serious test from both Antonio Valencia and Nani.
The Gunners’ league form at home remains strong and they have lost only once there since August. Robin Van Persie is in inspired form and the Dutchman opened the scoring last Sunday for his 18th league strike this season.
He’ll have a tough task getting through a strong United back four, who lead the clean sheet table with 11 this campaign. United have also won five of the past six meetings between the clubs and Sir Alex Ferguson knows the importance of another here.
United can also boast of the best away record in the league, with seven wins from ten games. Given the strength of both sides at home and on the road, the draw looks the best option at around 3.4 on BETDAQ.
RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)
Back the draw at around 3.4: 4 points
Saturday’s Return: -6 points
