PREVIEW
Newcastle are locked in an intense battle for the final Champions League spot and they could also play a major role in where the title will go at the end of the season. Alan Pardew’s side put an end to a poor run of results against Chelsea with an emphatic win at Stamford Bridge, largely thanks to an inspired Papiss Demba Cisse.

Cisse scored a stunning brace in West London and he’ll be the main threat once more for Roberto Mancini’s side.  The striker now has scored 13 times since arriving on Tyneside and simply cannot miss at the moment. Although the Magpies have been somewhat inconsistent on the road this year, they have won five of their past six league games.

Manchester City’s massive victory on Monday evening means that unless Man Utd overhaul the goal difference, the Citizens will win the league with two victories. Roberto Mancini knows his side will be up against it though, but their form suggests that City will get what they need. Vincent Kompany was immense on Monday and he’ll relish the opportunity to stop the hottest striker in the league.

City are so close to the title that they won’t allow any slip ups. Supported by a resolute back four I fancy City to edge past Newcastle and they are worth backing at around 1.73 on BETDAQ.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)
