PREVIEW
Chelsea’s brilliant run of form was ended in midweek with a comprehensive defeat to Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League. The score may have only been 2-1 in Ukraine but it flattered a Chelsea side outpaced by the creativity and speed of an exciting Shakhtar team.

Manchester United were hardly much better, conceding first for the eighth time in 12 matches this season, and eventually had to come from 2-0 down to see off Braga on Tuesday. Sir Alex Ferguson’s side travel to Stamford Bridge looking for a first Premier League win at the West London venue for ten years.

However, United have avoided defeat in their last five meetings with the Blues and that includes four wins. But it remains the case Chelsea have been in better form in the league and fully deserve their position as unbeaten league leaders. Match of the Daq tried to oppose Chelsea in both their away games at Arsenal and Tottenham this season without reward and, on home turf, they look a solid bet.

Both teams have an embarrassment of attacking riches and, although Chelsea will miss John Terry’s presence at the back – the skipper misses out through suspension, United’s defence has been appalling this term. The last four games between the sides have featured at least three goals and the last two have had four and six respectively. Surely there will surely be goals again, while a speculative punt on a 3-2 home win, at a big 28 on BETDAQ, is worth a punt.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)
Back over 2.5 goals at around 1.73 on BETDAQ: 3 points
Back 3-2 Chelsea correct score at around 28 on BETDAQ: 1 point

Saturday: -4.00 points

OCTOBER RETURN TO DATE: -6.22 points
