PREVIEW

Swansea and Manchester United meet for the first time in 28 years and there promises to be an electric atmosphere inside Liberty Stadium. The Swans have made a fine start to life in the Premier League and after eleven matches they are tenth on 13 points.

Although Brendan Rodgers side have struggled on the road, the manager will be absolutely delighted to be undefeated at home with three wins from five contests. However, the Swans’ home record is sure to come under threat when the defending champions visit.

United have bounced back from their humiliating loss to City with a run four victories on the spin across all competitions. Sir Alex Ferguson will be most pleased that his side have won all those contests to nil and he’ll be looking for another clean sheet in South Wales. The Red Devils remain unbeaten on their travels in the league and most recently picked up a hard-fought win at Goodison Park.

Wayne Rooney was not in action during the international break and will be itching to add to his nine league goals since August. The United talisman has not scored in the league since the 3-1 win over Chelsea in September. He’ll have his work cut out trying to break through a resolute Swans back line that has only conceded once at home this campaign.

United though are on a good away run and should be too strong for Swansea. At around 1.54 on BETDAQ, I would recommend backing an away win.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)

Man United at around 1.54: 6 points
