PREVIEW

Valencia have one foot in the semi-finals of the Copa Del Rey after a convincing 4-1 win over Levante seven days ago. The two rivals are separated by just four points in the league, but even as hosts Levante have a huge task ahead of them if they are to qualify.

Levante come into this cup tie off the back of some poor form that has seen them go three games without a win. At the weekend Levante were held to a goalless draw against Real Zaragoza and manager Juan Ignacio Martinez will be demanding a much better performance here.

Goals have been a problem for tonight’s hosts and the past two home league games have finished goalless. In fact Levante have only found the back of the net twice in their past six league outings. They also failed to score in Valencia’s most recent visit to Ciutat de València.

Valencia were also held to a point in La Liga at the weekend and their away form has not been as good as it can be. Unai Emery’s side have failed to win any of their past five away games across all competitions. During that run Los Che have drawn three of their past four away games and with a healthy three goal lead – Emery would likely settle for a draw.

At around 3.3 on BETDAQ, I’d recommend backing the two city rivals to be level at the final whistle.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)

Back the draw at around 3.3:  4 points

Wednesday’s Return: +10.20 points
