PREVIEW
There are 17 points separating Wrexham and Luton in the Blue Square Premier, but recent form suggests that this could be far closer than some think. Luton won’t have any fears heading into the game given they convincingly beat their Welsh opponents at the same stage last season.

Wrexham have been in the top two for the majority of the season, but eventually fell away to leave Fleetwood with the league title. Andy Morrell’s side finished the campaign on a high note with two wins, but it wasn’t the same a few weeks back. Before beating Braintree and Newport, Wrexham had failed to win four games – losing twice in that time.

Luton had to beat the champions to have any chance of reaching the post-season and a superb 2-0 win sets them up perfectly for the first leg. Tonight’s hosts won both play-off games against Wrexham last year and a run of six unbeaten games highlights the confidence in the squad.

Paul Buckle’s side have won their past three home league games and much of that is down to the back four. Luton have not conceded a goal for 450 minutes of action, but they will need to be at their best to keep out a side that has already beaten them twice in the campaign without letting a goal in.

The sides are evenly matched and my advice would be to back the sides to be level heading into the second leg at Wrexham. Therefore take the 3.35 available on BETDAQ for the draw.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)
Back the draw at 3.35: 4 points

Wednesday’s Return: -6 points
