PREVIEW
Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic will face each other for the 25th time as they fight for a place in the French Open final.

Together they have won a combined 21 Grand Slam titles and have collectively earned $97 million in career prize money. Federer will go into the match with plenty of confidence as he beat Novak Djokovic in last year’s semi-final, which was Djokovic’s last defeat in a Grand Slam.  However, before that loss the Serbian had won five of the last six against the Suisse maestro.

Although he’s still number one, Djokovic has struggled to find the form that saw him win 43 consecutive matches last year and he has already lost five matches since January. Nevertheless, he is undefeated in Grand Slams this season, winning the Australian Open in January and making it to the semi-final of the French Open for the fourth consecutive year. Djokovic will also be looking to make history by being the first man in 43 years to hold all four Grand Slam titles at one time.

Both players have had scares in their runs to the semi-finals. Djokovic had to save four match points  in his quarter final match against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and has already played two five set matches. Likewise, Federer has dropped five sets and had to come from two sets behind in his quarter final against Juan Martin Del Porto. Djokovic has had the beating of Federer in recent meetings, but the former world number one won’t go down without a fight. The last Grand Slam meeting went the distance between them and I fancy a Djokovic victory in five sets at 5.6 on BETDAQ.
