PREVIEW
The Copa Del Rey continues tonight in Spain with Mallorca and Deportivo La Coruna replaying their tie from the 1st of November that finished 1-1. It will be the third time the sides have met inside a month.
A few years ago Deportivo were completing at the highest levels in the Champions League, reaching the semi-finals in 2004, but now languish in 17th place in La Liga, having lost six of their last ten league games.
Mallorca have fared little better this term, just one point ahead of tonight’s rivals in the league and on a woeful run that has seen them lose six of their last seven. In fairness, two of those losses were against the giants of Real Madrid and Barcelona but their last win was more than a month ago.
In the last ten encounters between the sides only one match has had over 2.5 goals, so the 1.96 on BETDAQ for the same thing happening again may be worth an interest.
However, this betting game is all about value and, at around 4.1 on BETDAQ, La Coruna look over-priced considering how little there is between the teams.
