PREVIEW
Scotland meet Denmark at Hampden Park for their final friendly before returning to some important Euro 2012 qualifying fixtures. The Danes have selected a strong squad for the fixture and that’ll be good preparation for the upcoming games against Lithuania and Czech Republic.

As it stands, the Scots are third in Group I, four points behind Czech Republic in second spot – although they have a game in hand. At home the side have lost one and won one of their two matches, while Denmark have won only one of their away games in Group H.

The SPL is up and running and with many of the Scottish squad plying their trade there, it should mean that the fitness levels are at a decent level. There are a few injury concerns for Craig Levein as Alan Hutton and Steven Whittaker will both miss the clash.

Kenny Miller grabbed the winner at Upton Park on his debut for Cardiff at the weekend and he’ll be full of confidence heading into this one. He has 14 goals for Scotland from his 55 international appearances.

For the opposition, Nicklas Bendtner will provide the main attacking threat and the Arsenal striker will be supported by Mads Junker.

Scotland have struggled against Denmark in their recent games and have lost 1-0 in their past three matches. At around 1.7 on Betdaq, I’m happy to suggest backing under 2.5 goals.
