PREVIEW

Marseille lost two of their three home Champions League group games, but still managed to reach the last 16 on the back of some fine away performances. The French side are unbeaten in 15 matches coming into their clash with Inter Milan, who qualified top of Group B.

Manager Didier Deschamps will be without his star striker Loic Remy after he was unfortunately ruled out of the contest with a hamstring injury. However, it’s Andre Ayew who leads the scoring charts for the French side in Europe this campaign with three goals. There’s no doubt that Remy will be missed, but Deschamps has a strong enough squad to get the win.

Inter are a long way off the pace in Serie A and arrive in France with just one win in six league games. During that run Inter have shipped a staggering 14 goals and in reply have managed only six goals.

Even with Remy sidelined Marseille have enough attacking threat to put the Italians under more pressure at the back. Marseille’s home form in the group stages wasn’t at their usual high standard, but they are more than capable of taking an advantage to Italy for the second leg. I’d recommend backing the home win at around 2.25 on BETDAQ.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)
Back Napoli at around 2.45: 4 points
Tuesday’s Return: +5.80 points
