PREVIEW

Alarm clocks at the ready – or just don’t go to bed – for Argentina and Colombia’s middle-of-the-night meeting.

Argentina had better make sure they wake up too after a sleepy start against Bolivia in their opening Copa America match. But despite beginning their campaign on home soil with a damp squib of a 1-1 draw, they are strong favourites at 1.37 to grab three points against Colombia.

The hosts’ head-to-head record ticks the right box, with 16 victories to Colombia’s eight from 29 contests. However, the 2.07 tournament jollies are coming up against a well-marshaled defensive unit which has conceded just five goals in its last nine games.

Colombia won the Copa America title in 2001 – Argentina’s last title was in 1993 – and they are currently the Group A pacesetters after a 1-0 over Costa Rica in their opener.

Backers of the Colombia win can get 12.0 on Betdaq, but, as the odds suggest, that would be a surprise. They do, though, have the ability to keep the scoreline low, even if Argentina boast some of the greatest attacking talent in the world. Take 2.0 available for under 2.5 goals.

Also, Colombia have only lost by more than a single goal four times in as many years, so back them with a +1.5 Asian Handicap at around 1.68.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)
Under 2.5 goals at 2: 3 points
Colombia with +1.5 Asian Handicap at 1.68: 4 points

Tuesday’s Return: -3 points
