PREVIEW
Arsenal and Liverpool had contrasting weekends in the FA Cup. The Gunners twice saw Championship side Brighton fight back from a goal down in a dogged display before in-form Theo Walcott struck a late winner.

At Oldham, Brendan Rodgers saw his Reds team embarrassed 3-2 by the League One strugglers. He will be looking for a response from his men tonight when the teams meet having blamed his younger players for the defeat.

The Northern Irishman is likely to recall his big guns to the starting line-up and if they turn up in the same form as when they demolished Norwich on their penultimate start then they will prove a real handful for the hosts tonight.

Arsenal, though, have lost only one of their last 11 Premier League meetings with Liverpool, but six of these games have ended in a draw.

Despite losing six and winning just one of their last 12 away games at the London club, the Merseysiders boast the best Premier League record, alongside Manchester United, for winning the most games at Arsenal with six.

Both teams inconsistency is frustrating and it’s a hard game to call, but the Emirates has witnessed more goals than any other Premier League stadium this season with 46. With the likes of Theo Walcott, Olivier Giroud and Luis Suarez in such hot form, this could be another goal fest.
