MATCH POINT: Our tennis tipping column is 48 points up since it started. The next BETDAQ tennis bet comes in Tuesday’s Qatar Open clash between Aljaz Bedene v Alexander Bublik.
Dominic Thiem redeemed himself and gave us a profit on Monday after his 6-3, 7-6(3) win over Diego Schwartzman.
The ATP Cup continues today but the match of most interest to me is Aljaz Bedene v Alexander Bublik scheduled for 12.45pm in the Qatar Open.
In theory there should be little between the pair. Bedene is ranked 58 and Bublik 55 and it’s the first time the pair have met on the ATP Tour.
However, there could be some BETDAQ value (0% COMMISSION !!) on Bublik who is eight years younger than Bedene.
2019 was a massive breakthrough year for Bublik – making the final of two ATP events. Firstly Newport (grass) and then a win on the hard surface of Chengdu.
Bublik beat seventh seed Adrian Mannarino 6-3, 6-4 on Monday to advance to the second round whilst Bedene had a harder battle and needed a comeback 3-6, 6-4, 6-3 win against 2019 Next Gen ATP Finals qualifier Mikael Ymer.
Should be a good battle but the value call is Bublik at around 2.15.
MATCH POINT BETS:
8 points win BUBLIK at around 2.15 on BETDAQ
