MATCH POINT: Our tennis tipping column previews Friday’s second Men’s semi-final between Daniil Medvedev v Stefanos Tsitsipas in the Australian Open with recommended BETDAQ bets.
The good news overnight was that Jennifer Brady, one of my three original selections, has reached Saturday’s Women’s Final.
She will be the outsider against Naomi Osaka in the Final but the BETDAQ 21.0 is looking pretty tasty now if you want to trade out. I will be previewing the final later but for the time being there is the question of who will face Novak Djokovic in Sunday’s Men’s Final?
As the BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE odds suggested, Djokovic was too strong for the Russian Aslan Karatsev in the first semi-final but the straight sets scoreline of 6-3 6-4 6-2 doesn’t really do justice to how well Karatsev played – considering he came in as the world number 114.
Djokovic will now play either Daniil Medvedev or Stefanos Tsitsipas who battle it out on Friday morning. It’s the fourth seed v fifth and both players are bidding to reach their first Australian Open final.
Having recommended Thiem and Medvedev ante-post I am clearly hoping the Russian will progress to the final but this is going to a mighty tough encounter.
Stefanos Tsitsipas claimed the notable scalp of Rafael Nadal in the quarter finals – fighting back from being two sets down. It was an amazing match but also one that lasted four hours and will have taken a huge mental and physical effort from Tsitsipas.
That might just swing things Medvedev’s way. He had a much easier progression with a straight sets win over Andrey Rublev to reach the last four.
The head to head record also greatly favours Medvedev who has won five of their previous six matches – although Tsitsipas did win the latest encounter which came at the ATP Finals.
A straight sets Medvedev win and a 3-1 win is the call at 3.2 and 4.5 respectively with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE and don’t forget it’s 0% COMMISSION ON TENNIS INCLUDING THE GRAND SLAMS!
MATCH POINT BETS:
3 points win MEDVEDEV TO WIN 3-0 at around 3.2 on the BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE
3 points win MEDVEDEV TO WIN 3-1 at around 4.5 on the BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE
