🇺🇸 MATCH POINT: Our tennis tipping column is 20.34 points up since it started. The next recommended bet comes in the Daniil Medvedev vs Dominic Thiem semi-final early on Saturday morning.
A setback for me in the Women’s semi-finals with Jennifer Brady v Naomi Osaka going to three sets which has dented the profits for the column.
The final now sees Naomi Osaka take on Victoria Azarenka who looked down and out when losing the first set to Serena Williams but staged a massive recovery to win the next two sets.
Another late night beckons for tennis fans with the Men’s semi-finals and the most interesting match looks to be Daniil Medvedev vs Dominic Thiem just after midnight.
The seedings have worked out with number 2 in the world taking on number 3 and this should be a classic.
Thiem holds a 2-1 lead in the three times they have played each other, although Medvedev did win their latest encounter in the ATP Masters 1000 Canada event winning easily 6-3, 6-1.
Thiem has been impressive so far, only dropping a set against Marin Cilic. His serving has been especially reliable.
Daniil Medvedev will be looking to reach Sunday’s final again – he was runner-up last year when beaten by Rafael Nadal in five sets.
He’s yet to drop a set and might just edge it.
The BETDAQ market points to a coin flip of a match and I’ll take Medvedev win at around 1.95 and also the two set betting extremities 3-0 and 3-2 at around 4.6 and 5.7 respectively on the BETDAQ Sportsbook.
