MATCH POINT: Our tennis tipping column is in great shape with the US Open Women’s prediction – now for some BETDAQ trading.
So far so good with the US Open Women’s tournament with two of my original three bets in the semi-finals – I’ll take that !!
MATCH POINT BETS:
3 points SERENA WILLIAMS at around 7.00 on BETDAQ
4 points PLISKOVA at around 13.5 on BETDAQ
4 points ANDREESCU at around 14.5 on BETDAQ
Furthermore, both Serena Williams and Bianca Andreescu (pictured) are favourites to win their respective semi-finals so we really could be in a dream position come Saturday.
It makes sense though to consider a couple of insurance options and (for once) its quite simple with this one.
I’m backing the two other players to win the tournament.
We’ve got an outlay of 11 points and with Svitolina and Bencic both trading at around 6.4 on BETDAQ to win the title a stake of 3 points on each should do the trick.
This would leave the portfolio in a can’t lose position of:
Serena Williams +4.00 points
Bianca Andreescu +41.00 points
Elina Svitolina +2.20 points
Belinda Bencic +2.20 points
If Andreescu reaches the final, I might consider a further trade to level things up a little more but she has a big match tonight and the 19-year-old Canadian is likely to find this tougher than her quarter final match when she came from behind to beat Elise Mertens 3-6, 6-2, 6-3.
