Bristol City’s relegation from the Championship was confirmed in midweek and the basement boys face a tough ask when they take on high-flyers Hull at the KC Stadium later.
Hull have consistently held off the challenge from the likes of Watford and Brighton for the second automatic promotion spot and, with six points separating the Tigers from Watford with just three games of the season left, a home win later will leave them as overwhelming favourites to hang on to second spot.
Steve Bruce’s men have gone four league games unbeaten to Bristol City, keeping clean sheets in three of those. The Robins have lost five of their last six in the Championship with three of those coming on the road.
Hull did slip up with a 1-0 defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers in midweek, but shouldn’t make the same mistake later against rivals who have nothing left to play for. That said, Hull have lost half of their last ten games and, of the five wins, only one came by more than a one goal margin.
With that in mind, it might be worth chancing the visitors with a +1/1.5 Asian handicap at around 1.98 on BETDAQ to keep the scores respectable in what is likely to be a tight game.
